    Some may say a little over priced and yes you can buy cheaper but you get what you pay for, this item contains all you need no messing around, in my situation I cut the strip in half then added an extension cable and reconnected the remaining led, very simple to do.All in all very happy with the led’s.

    I’ve bought a couple of these for my bathroom, firstly they connected nice and easy to my Hubitat home automation system, but they would have connected to Hue no problem too! They are really bright, I used them in my shower as it’s main light and it’s plenty bright enough!There a few other nice elements, the PSU is an in-line version, so you can mount it easy enough and it doesn’t have to have a 13amp socket near by, as you can extend the cable.The colours are really nice, you can get a full RGB range and has a nice yellow LED, meaning you can get a good warm white.Remember because it is a 5 colour strip, if you want to join it, you’ll need to search hard for the 6 pin version, as most are only 4!All in all I have 2 of these, both very worth it! I would say they’re maybe £5-10 more than some others, but I do feel they’re better than most.

    Not sure about the value as they are quite expensive. However they adhere well to the surface and are really bright. They connect to the Hue Bridge easily and have not disconnected so operate like a Hue product. I’ve had some flickering at times but generally okay.

    I’ve put these all over the place and they are fantastic. They work with hue really well are super bright and can also go full white or warm white. Its way brighter and cheaper than the hue strips and I’ve got one that has been extended and it still really bright all the way through no voltage drop.Can’t recommend it enough and haven’t had anything fade or fail in years of using these.

    Not really a person to leave reviews but for this, I think it’s justified.So, my house is lit entirely by hue products, I’ve been toying with a small project idea but didn’t want to spend the £120 a 3mtr hue lightstrip solution would’ve cost.So, I took a punt on this for less than half the cost. It works perfectly with hue and also a motion sensor, absolutely no problem at all.The build quality and power pack shows it not such a premium product but these things are always hidden away.Really good.

    I bought this to link with IKEA, but found that the controller doesn’t fully support Trådfri (and not Echo 1G). Other than that it is very easy to use. It has two manual switches one for ON/OFF and one for dimming. Note that the LED controller unit and mains transformer are two separate components and that the transformer is rather bulky. Very good 3M adhesive strip. Poor user instructions and web site. However, good response from customer support who have advised that their future controllers may work better with IKEA.To connect:1. Reset IKEA remote (4 quick presses)2. Link remote to IKEA gateway3. Add 2nd remote (optional)4. Leave LED Strip powered on5. Hold IKEA remote within 2cm of (white) LED Controller and press link button on IKEA. At this point LEDs should flash and eventually return to normal. At this point you can release the link button. It took several attempts for IKEA app to process and show the device.6. If it doesn’t work on first attempt, you may have to reset LED Controller. Do this by turning power off/on to LED Controller 5 times (shows one flash of red lights when reset).Screenshots shows IKEA app. Note that LED Strip will not allow control of RBG colours. Only warm/cold white and dimming brightness is possible.

    This is a rare product that just gets everything right. I wanted to add some controllable coloured lights to my existing Philips Hue system, but always baulked a little at the cost of the kits. I’d previously installed a system using separately sourced strips and a compatible Zigbee controller + driver, but this makes it SO much easier (and is cheaper). I wish I’d known about this sooner!Firstly, the packaging isn’t excessive, and is mostly recyclable. A good start. There is no confusion about setup, as everything goes together very simply. Within seconds of opening the package, I had the lights connected, plugged in and working. So easy.Adding them to my existing Hue system was pure simplicity, just the same as any native Philips Hue products. The light strip was seen by the app, and immediately controllable with the full range of colour adjustment. The colours are bright, bold, and look brilliant. Having dedicated ‘white’ LEDs on the strip in both cool and warm colour temperatures, makes a real difference to the quality of the white light, with a full range of adjustment between them.Once added to Hue, they can then instantly be added to Google Home or Alexa for voice control. I already had Hue devices setup under Google Home so it was just a case of saying “Hey Google, sync devices”, and boom! They’re added and controllable by voice. We’re living in the future!Whether you use these for mood lighting with the colours, or main lighting with the whites (works great under cupboards or bounced off a ceiling), there is lots of light output, and they do the job brilliantly. I’ve installed a set under a bed, under kitchen worktops, and on cupboards. I’m now looking for more opportunities to use them as I love the light output, the controllability, the price (very good – not much more than a single Philips bulb, and about a 1/3 price of the equivalent Hue lightstrip), and how easy they are to setup and install.Easiest 5* recommendation I’ve ever given.Oh and finally, the seller (Ajax Online) is superb to deal with, answering questions quickly and offering great support. Highly recommended.
